DATA PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION OF FINDINGS 4.0 INTRODUCTION This chapter presents findings of the study which was about investigating the influence of literacy rich classroom environment on the learning of children in Pre and lower primary school in Nachingwea District, Lindi Region situated in Southern zone of Tanzania. The presentation is according to research questions which were converted into themes and sub themes so as to provide information in logical order. 4.1 Available resources for children learning Charts, toys and puzzles Findings indicate that in literacy classroom environments had toys and puzzles which were used by both teachers and pupils in teaching and learning. These toys and puzzles were included number perfects, match it mathematics, mind builders, and button it puzzles. Others included cross words and Eva puzzle mats.
